This boutique hotel had a really lovely, homeyl. The building is beautiful and decorated nicely, the room and bed was comfortable, and service was friendly. What made this hotel stand out for me were the little extra touches like the coffee table books there for you to flip through while enjoying espresso coffees, fruit, and biscuits you can help yourself to whenever you like. I hope my journey takes me back to Hotel de Vie on some occassion as I really enjoyed my stay.

The Staff were wonderful and the room we stayed in was large, clean and romantic. The whole hotel was well set up and relaxing. Breakfast was great and the free snacks was an added bonus. Would recommend to all.

The personal service at this hotel is outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. The room I had was probably the most luxurious I've ever stayed in and yet not the most expensive. Can't fault this hotel in any way

Staff were very accommodating, friendly and interested in what travel plans we had for the local surrounds each day. Rooms were amazing! Food was delicious.. It was a nice touch to have ready access to good coffee, tea, fruit, cheese and a selection of snacks at any time in the communal area.Convenient location to walk into Farnham to go exploring.

The assistant manager Toni was excellent. Being a boutique hotel she made you feel at home. The place is well-appointed, with interesting bedrooms and a decent en-suite. The help-yourself facilities are good. Breakfast was excellent.

Breakfast individually cooked to order. Very good bathroom facilities. Staff eager to please.
Not sure it was value for money and guests might need to be warned about the 'erotic' aspect of the establishment.

Interesting decor , good breakfast, nice, if small room, lovely shower! very enthusiastic/helpful owner/manager. Central location for visiting friends.
cheap supermarket toiletries, v small bathroom, tea/coffee facilities in room would be good, no space either side of bed to get in/out or to put drinks etc, had to climb in from end. Very uncomfortable bed. Despite ordering sunday's breakfast on saturday night, we waited for 40 minutes to have it served, a member of staff in the restaurant would really help. We're no prudes but had no idea from reading Booked.net info as to the theme of the hotel, made us feel quite uncomfortable, would be a good idea to have more detail in description so guests know what to expect. Lot of road noise. Having had over 20 years in hospitality I would say it was so nearly very good, just needs bit more attention to the detail.

Very welcoming and happy to help.
Toiletries could be more upmarket considering the price of stay. Would have liked coffee facilities in room although they were available downstairs if required Breakfast quite basic. Alot of traffic noise early in morning.
